I am already a customer

Can I view my data myself somewhere?

The amount of your collection credit, the works of art that you have at home; at the moment you cannot view this data online yet. We are working hard to make this functionality possible in the near future.

For questions about your account, you can contact us via the general number (020) 632 54 92 or by mail contact@sbk.nl. You can also call or email one of the branches.

What can I do with my collection credit?

1. Buy art from SBK collection. You can use your entire collection credit.

2. Buy art through the SBK galleries. You can pay 25% of the purchase price with collection credit and use our favorable interest-free repayment arrangement for the remaining amount.

3. Buy an SBK Art Voucher to give to someone as a present.

4. Donate to the Stichting Beeldende Kunst. SBK is recognized as a Cultural Public Benefit Institution (Culture ANBI). This makes it fiscally attractive for you to donate money to SBK and thus support SBK. Gifts and donations to organizations with an ANBI status are tax deductible.

Can I return my artwork at any location?

You can return your rented artworks at any SBK location.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. This can be done at any branch, in writing or by e-mail.

The subscription will then end on the first of the following month. The subscription can only be terminated when all borrowed artwork(s) have been returned.

How do you handle my personal data?

SBK handles your personal data very carefully and never shares it with third parties. This personal data is known to us because you use our services and/or because you provide us with this data yourself when registering. Read more under Privacy Policy.

How can I change my personal data?

You can change your personal data by sending it from an e-mail address known to us to contact@sbk.nl. Always state your last name and current zip code.

How do I transport a work of art?

You can transport your borrowed works of art yourself, for example by car, public transport or taxi.

You can also let us take care of the transport at low cost. To make a transport appointment, send an email to: mvandijk@sbk.nl. Read more about the costs here.

What does it cost to rent art?

At SBK you already have access to our extensive collection of works of art for € 6.95 per month, all of which are for rent and/or for sale.

The value of the work of art that you rent (and whether or not it is possible to save) determines the amount of your subscription. Read more at Rates how our subscription system is structured.

I see a beautiful artwork on your site, but I can't borrow it. Why not?

SBK has an art rental and gallery collection.
All works of art from the art rental collection can be rented.
Artworks from the gallery collection cannot all be rented and also have a different loan rate. SBK has these works on consignment. Whether these can be rented depends on the agreement we have made with the artist.

What is the minimum or maximum loan period?

There is no minimum or maximum loan period. If you have a work of art in your home, you decide if and when you want to return it.

How often can you switch?

You may exchange a rented artwork as many times as you wish.

There are 25,000 artworks in the collection, why am I only seeing 5,000 in the online collection?

Many of these 25,000 works of art have been loaned; the online collection only contains the non-lent, available works of art.

In addition, not all our artworks have been digitilized yet. We are working hard on this.

I saw an artwork in the online collection last week and now it's gone. How is that possible?

It may be that the artwork has been rented or sold. Our tip is that if you see a beautiful artwork, you reserve it immediately or write down the art number, so that we can always check the status of this work. Or if it is rented, reserve the work for you. When the work comes back from a customer, you will receive a message from us.

Can I also have art delivered to my home?

How can I register?

You can register at all our branches, except Eindhoven. You need a valid proof of identity and address.

After registration you can immediately rent a work of art and you can also go to all our other locations to rent or return art. There are no registration fees.
