At the moment, it is not yet possible to view your data online, such as your collection credit or the works of art that you have at home. We are working hard to make this possible in the near future.

Please contact us if you have any questions about your account on the general number (020) 632 54 92 or by e-mail: contact@sbk.nl. You can also call or e-mail one of the branches.

What can I do with my collection credit?

1. Buy art from the SBK collection. You can use your entire collection credit.

2. Buy art through the SBK galleries. You may pay 25% of the purchase price with collection credit and use our interest-free repayment option for the remaining amount.

3. Buy an SBK Art Voucher to give as a present.

4. Donate to Stichting Beeldende Kunst. SBK is recognized as a Cultural Public Benefit Institution (Cultural ANBI). Supporting SBK is fiscally attractive as gifts and donations to organizations with an ANBI status are tax deductible.

What does it cost to rent art?
icon/arrow_forward-24px

At SBK you will have access to our extensive collection of works of art for € 6.95 per month. All artworks are for rent and/or for sale.

The value of the work of art that you rent (and whether or not it is possible to save up to ultimately buy art) determines the level of your subscription. Read more at Rates how our subscription system is structured.

I see a beautiful work on art your site, but I can't rent it. Why not?

SBK has an art rental and gallery collection.
All works of art from the art rental collection can be rented.
Not all artworks from the gallery collection can be rented. SBK has these works on consignment. Whether these can be rented depends on the agreement we have with the artist. Artworks from the gallery collection that can be rented, have a different loan rate.

What is the minimum or maximum rental period?

There is no minimum or maximum rental period. If you have a work of art in your home, you decide if and when you want to return it.

You may exchange a rented artwork as many times as you wish.

There are 25.000 artworks in the collection, why am I only seeing 5.000 in the online collection?
icon/arrow_forward-24px

Many of these 25,000 works of art have been rented out; the online collection only contains the available works of art.

In addition, not all our artworks have been digitalized yet. We’re in the process of doing this.

I saw an artwork in the online collection last week and now it's gone. How is that possible?
icon/arrow_forward-24px

The artwork may have been rented or sold. We suggest is that if you see an artwork you’d like, you reserve it immediately or write down the art number, so that we can check the status of this work. Or, if it is rented out, we can book the work for you. When the work comes back, we will send you a message.

Can I have art delivered to my home?
icon/arrow_forward-24px

You can let us take care of the transport of art at low cost. To arrange this, send an e-mail to transport. Read more about the costs here.

You can also transport your rented works of art yourself, for example by car, public transport or taxi.

How do I register?
icon/arrow_forward-24px

You can register at all our branches, except Eindhoven. You need a valid proof of identity and address.
