SBK has more than 25.000 works of art in its collection by approximately 4.500 different artists, collected over more than 6 decades. It contains unique pieces belonging to different movements and periods within Dutch art history.
This makes it not only one of the largest, but also one of the most unique art rental collections in the Netherlands.
If you are not yet sure what you like, you can use the online catalogue as a handy tool to explore our collection. You can reserve a maximum of 3 works of art. When you view the artworks at one of our locations, our expert colleagues can help you with your search based on your choice. For example, by providing insight into your preferences and making suggestions for other works of art.
All art forms are represented in our collection. From paintings, sculptures and tapestries to drawings and photographs of contemporary talent. Our range is diverse and is constantly being supplemented with new work by established names and up-and-coming talent.
SBK is an art rental and gallery. The galleries have works of art on consignment. These works are not our property and therefore different rates and conditions apply than for the rental collection. Read more here, under the heading ‘Rent works on consignment via SBK Gallery’.
